Crushers

A crusher is a tool for growing large rocks into smaller rocks, dirt, or rock powder. Crushers can be used to reduce the size or form of waste materials so that they can be more easily disposed of or reused, or to reduce the size of a solid mix of raw materials (as in rock ore), in order to differentiate parts of different composition.

Crushing is the process of transferring a force amplified by a mechanical advantage through a material made of molecules that bind more closely together and resist deformation more than those in the material being crushed.
